The early days of Midvale were due to pioneers recognizing the abundant creeks and grassy valleys that would become the center of agriculture. This was also the midpoint between the rail mining in little cottonwood and the Bingham mine in the west. Along with the industry came hotels, boarding houses, saloons, schools and the people who made Midvale’s old town a center of the community. Several movies and miniseries were shot in downtown Midvale. To learn more about living in the area and community events please visit the Midvale official website here.
The photo above is a project in a neighboring area of Midvale. The exterior upgrades were a new and enlarged composite deck as well as two new sliding glass doors. In the next photo, you will see the view as you enter the new kitchen from the sliding glass door. You will notice the fresh cabinets and large countertop. There used to be a wall at the end of the cabinet line that was removed to allow a more open space.
In the last photo, you will see the pantry niche that was created to make space for the refrigerator as well as additional cabinet space for storage.
