Holliday is the oldest settlement that has been continuously occupied in Utah.  Named after Mormon pioneer John Holladay who settled the area in 1847.  Nearby Cottonwood was another settlement that has always been associated with Holliday combined to be incorporated into Holliday-Cottonwood in November 1999 and shortened to Holliday in December the same year.  Today Holliday is a city that has many parks and offers a suburban feel. In the photo above is a project neighboring Holliday. Notice the cabinets are the existing cabinets that were in the home. From the range to the corner of the island we had our cabinet maker match the existing and add a few more. The wall at the end of the island was once a continuous wall that went floor to ceiling. We opened up space and added the spacious quartz countertop. The paint on the existing cabinets gives the space a clean fresh appearance.

The picture above is the same project from the kitchen looking into the living room. You can see the dramatic effect of opening the kitchen up has on the rest of the space. Rather than being isolated and closed off the entire space flows and entertaining guests and family are possible.

Another feature we were able to add is a pantry and built in space for the refrigerator. We needed to be creative with space, but with the cooperation and skill of our cabinet maker, we were able to carve out a space for the refrigerator and have the pantry match the existing cabinets to finish the room.
