The Taylorsville area had a rich history yet is one of the newest cities within the greater Salt Lake area. Taylorsville was incorporated in July of 1996 during the centennial anniversary of Utah’s statehood. The area is located at the center of the Salt Lake Valley and is considered a prime location to live and work. The area has many parks and a rich community event schedule. To learn more about living in the area and community events please visit the Taylorsville official website here.
The photo above features a kitchen that was renovated in an area neighboring Taylorsville. Notice how the stainless appliances are highlighted by the contrast of the white granite countertops. The white subway tile backsplash is a spectacular upgrade to the traditional 4” backsplash.
Taylorsville lots tend to be somewhat larger than those of the neighborhoods to the north. This allowed us to put together this custom garage for one of our clients who has done several projects with Crossbeam Builders. This was a design and concept he had in mid that we were able to bring to reality. This garage has enough room to park a couple vehicles as well as a bonus room above.
Our final photo is a patio cover that a client had us put together in a neighboring area. The challenge for this was to get the post notched to accept the continuous main beam to carry the roof. The suspended concrete slab was an interesting design feature.

Chris at Crossbeam Builders is very professional and is there when he says he is going to be. He is very precise in his work. He never left a mess and finished the project before the estimate time limit and was under budget. I wouldn’t hesitate in hiring him again for another job!
